to the adoption page - here you
will find a number of animals from kittens & cats to dogs and birds all
in need of a home!
We are looking for permanent, responsible homes for the animals at our
shelter. Thousands of animals die each year because irresponsible owners
neglect their pets, let their pets' breed, or just decide they no longer
want their animals. Please consider the time and money required in
owning a pet. Owning a pet is a lifetime commitment!
All
PAWS sponsored pets are
indicated with this symbol
 .
It is PAWS policy to allow
a two week trial period for both pet and new owner to adjust. After this
time the sole responsibility for the animal rests with the new owner.
Pets
without the above paw symbol are advertised as a courtesy for
people wanting to home their animals and are not subject to PAWS policies.
It is best to check with the current owner if any conditions apply
prior to adopting.
Advertisements will be
automatically removed
after three (3) months.

| To ensure
that the animals we are re-homing will have a safe and secure
future we have specific adoption policies, please read
carefully:
You must be 18 years of age
or older to adopt an animal.
All animals must be
de-sexed with the exception of kittens / dogs under the operable
age.
While we hope your pet
selection process is successful and permanent, we do offer a
fourteen-day period
to ascertain acknowledged behavioural abnormalities
during which time you may surrender the pet for any reason.
PAWS reserves the right to
refuse any adoption when it is felt the adoption is
inappropriate in the circumstances. |

born into this compound as we have been working on having all
the adult dogs sterilized. as well as the pups are a selection

exercise. Can be boisterous but is not aggressive, does bark

Very little
is known about this poor kitty. it was being kept in a very small cage
without any hygiene or grooming care it is currently at the green crown
clinic being sterilized vaccinated and groomed - and fed! would you like
to give this little one another chance at life and to know what a decent

A great mum
that had the sense to go to the right home to have her kittens,.
scribbles was so clever she actually broke into the house and gave birth
in the families nursery where all the children had been cared for. she
like her host family had two boys and two girls- strange but true and
a cute story to go along with her and her kittens.

The kitten
was abandoned by her mother after some boys disturbed her and so we took
her in a few days ago. The kitten is very healthy. Unfortunately we
cannot keep her as our own two cats will not accept her. The kitten is
