Here in the PAWS Adoption Gallery you will find a myriad of pets that are in need of loving homes. We, at PAWS, hope they all find homes but before you decide to adopt a pet please consider the long-term commitment you are making.

Being a responsible pet owner takes time and money along with the ability to properly nurture the pet. Did you know the average dog or cat can live 10-15+ years? Some birds, such as certain varities of parrots, have the potential to outlive their owners. Even a goldfish, when properly cared for, can have a lifespan of 20 years.

If you need to re-home your pet please fill out a PAWS Re-Homing Form and return it along with a photo to the appropriate homing coordinator.

All PAWS sponsored pets have this symbol   on their information page by their name and are subject to PAWS adoption policies.

Pets without the above paw symbol are advertised as a courtesy for people wanting to home their animals and are not subject to PAWS policies.

She was adopted last week but it didn't work out due to the fact the family had no other pets and no one was home the majority of the day. She cried from lonliness so she is once again looking for a new home. Not much is known about her except that she is a very friendly but shy, submissive little dog who gets along very well with other dogs, likes cats, and is gentle with children. Her foster family is willing to pay for the first set of vaccinations and to have her spayed. She would do best with a home with other pets to keep her from getting lonely.
