Here in the PAWS Adoption Gallery you will find a myriad of pets that are in need of loving homes. We, at PAWS, hope they all find homes but before you decide to adopt a pet please consider the long-term commitment you are making.

Being a responsible pet owner takes time and money along with the ability to properly nurture the pet. Did you know the average dog or cat can live 10-15+ years? Some birds, such as certain varities of parrots, have the potential to outlive their owners. Even a goldfish, when properly cared for, can have a lifespan of 20 years.

Camden enjoys being indoors and has never cause any damage to anything including carpets, shoes or furniture. He always asks to have the door open when he needs to relieve himself. He needs to be indoors when it is hot outside above 40 C. In the cooler weather, he likes to be outside. For food, he eats dry dog food plus meal leftovers. Camden is friendly and affectionate with his owner. He is content to be with someone such as when people are watching TV or using the computer. He is only up for adoption as his owner is retiring and going to a living arrangement that does not permit dogs. Apparently abandoned by a family, she's been making her own way since then and has become a regular around the Ballpark. She is extremely timid but is also obviously keen for affection; she is a bit fearful until she gets to know you. She is very good with cats but with other dogs is unknown. As she has been living "free" she likely needs spaying and vaccinations which will be provided and paid for. The priority at the moment is to find her a home either foster or permanent. This dog is a work of love in progress; patience and kindness a must.
