Percy & William Hello, It's hard to believe it's been two years since we got our little boys! They are doing very well and truly thriving in their new home. We are very lucky to have found PAWS and our two wonderful boys! Thank you so much for bringing us together. Attached are some photos that show we have spoiled them just a little! :) They love the shelf we put around the living room. Regards, Tim L Williams	Monty & Yuri Dear Friends, I have been meaning to send an update on Yuri and Monty for quite some time now and I have so much to tell about them! The two have been the most wonderful part of my life and they both have extremely unique personalities! Yuri walks around like a Queen. She has a strong presence when she enters the room; her head is always held up high and has the most impeccable posture I’ve ever seen on a cat! She is sassy and a little prissy and loves to watch me put on my makeup, and often dips her paws in my blush or eyeshadow, as if to say, “Please do my makeup too!” Although, one time I was missing my best makeup brush, only to find out two weeks later that she made a secret toy of it. She must have snatched it out of my makeup pouch one day and has been “freshening her look” daily! I let her keep it. She loves girly things and will watch my every move. She loves looking into the mirror and admires herself. She also loves to be the inspector around the house... she goes on regular foot patrols, normally every 10-15 minutes, and anytime she hears a sound either at the front door or from the balcony, she will run there to see investigate. I must say, I never thought I’d say this about a cat, but I have never felt safer in my own home… She is more trustworthy than my own security system I have installed! She is always on high alert and her personality certainly grows off that! There is the side of Yuri who is sweet and affectionate, always coming around for some cuddle time and loves to give a few licks to show she is so grateful to have us…. Nothing is more heartwarming than knowing you have provided them with a loving home. Now for Monty: He is truly a little prince. His eyes are so expressive and his fluffy tail is always held high. He knows he has a beautiful tail and he loves to show it off. He is such a curious cat and will get into everything! Both him and Yuri love to hunt (unfortunately all I have is an occasional fly in the house). Monty loves to play fetch, something I’ve never seen a cat do… I normally throw his favorite mouse toy across the room and he’ll fetch it and bring it back to me, meowing loudly in victory and seeking a “Good fetchhhh!!!!” and a pat on the back! Monty has a wild imagination and we often see him playing what seems to resemble “Indiana Jones” around the house! He always wants to play and we all love his games! Him and Yuri play cat tag regularly. I’m so impressed at their high speeds and ability to leap over the furniture. Monty loves to learn “Guy Stuff” from my boyfriend. The two get together and watch baseball games and Monty always roots for the Yankees! … something he has clearly inherited from my Boyfriend! My boyfriend also shows Monty how to use his paws in self defense, it is very cute, and Monty is a quick learner. Monty also loves to wake me up with his loud purring in the morning. He is very affectionate and has such a warm personality. He loves to meow and says whatever is on his mind… I think he’s a philosopher at times because I see him stare up into the sky, sometimes at the moon, or the stars, soaking in the greatest aspects of life, then walk over to me, take a couple minutes gleaming into my eyes, and then he will meow nonstop for two minutes at least, perhaps reciting a poem about love, perhaps reciting St. Augustine, but whatever it is, he is a deep thinker and I can tell! Whenever we put together a piece of furniture or have anything delivered, they love to be involved in everything! They inspect the item which will be put into our home. Then they loooooooooooove boxes! They will play in them constantly – hopping in and out of them, using them as hiding places, and building fortresses out of them! So I kept a big one for them and cut a door out and it was one of their favorite hideouts! As you can see in the pics…. The two are napping right now, they have been up all night playing. Both are healthy vivacious cats and have certainly brought joy to our lives. They have big hearts, are very smart, and their personalities and unmatchable! I always like to say that it is the ARAMCO in them that makes them so great. So I will keep you posted on the two, thank you again for your hard work and dedication to the animals… we all are thankful! (I’ve attached some photos of them playing and sleeping…. Yuri is so funny because she likes to make it clear that it’s close of business when she sleeps! Doors are closed!) Sincerely, Rula and Erik	Stitch Stitch, the ringneck parrot, is doing wonderful with the rest of my bird/parrot pack. He has been accepted by them from day 1. I would like to thank the previous owner for rescuing and nursing this lovely bird back to health. Thank you and God bless you. Fadhila	Lovebirds The 4 love birds plus Stitch, the ringneck parrot, are doing wonderful with the rest of my bird/parrot pack. They have been accepted by them from day 1. One of the love birds came to me with clipped wings. I had to keep my eyes on him but he is doing great by using his mouth and legs to climb the cage. He will be flying in no time. 4 Lovebirds I thought the previous owner might like to see the new home. I fixed them a rope to play on yesterday. You can see part of the cage, it's taller than me. They are so pretty flying inside playing and make such wonderful chatter, please thank the previous owner and again thank you. Kindest regards, Charlene		Bella Bella now lights up everyone in the neighborhood’s lives whether they like it or not. She has made friends with doggies of all ages & size & occasionally her cat brothers, Tamimi & Homer let her pass by without a swat of their paws. She is still trying to figure out how to get them to join in the games of 'chase' & how she can get herself up a tree with them; they are still trying to figure out when she will learn to 'chill' out! We are a funny sight in our desert across the road - me, Court, Bella, Homer, Tamimi all having our evening walk (I guess the boys don't want to miss out). She has enabled us to explore places on the compound we never even knew existed (as well as get some much needed exercise). The dog bed her foster carer insisted we take is now her toy box - Bella has taken over the couch & socks & slippers have proven much more fun than any of her 'doggie' toys. She loves nothing more than to run around in the sprinklers, then plop her wet, furry body in the dirt patch outside of the house, only to then jump on the couch (and me or Court) and give you big wet muddy kisses. When she knows she's been naughty out come the 'eyes' that make your heart melt. So, a far cry from the timid puppy we brought home that hid in cupboards & corners of the house, & cringed every time you went to touch her.	Percy & William It's hard to believe that we have had our two babies for almost a year now! You wouldn't recognize them! They have grown so much. Especially William. He's huge! He can stand on the floor and reach up and put his paws on the bathroom counter and look in the sink! I never thought he would be that big. The vet calls him "one solid cat"! Percy definitely wears the pants in the family. Although he is a lot smaller than William William does whatever Percy tells him to. Percy is not mean he just thinks he deserves whatever William has. He's very funny because he is so self-assured. He never meets a stranger. William, on the other hand, is still afraid of his shadow but at least he's not jumping quite as high as he used to when he's scared. He doesn't like strangers at all but he loves Brian and me. He curls up with both of us - me on the sofa and Brian when he's working on the computer. We built a shelf around the top of the entire living room and a little ladder for them. They really enjoy playing and sleeping up there. They don't go outside at all and seem to be okay with that. We lost our last cat because he was an outside cat and one day he just didn't come home. We aren't taking the chance with these two adorable boys! I just wanted to let you know how much we love those two boys and how much joy they bring to us. We laugh at them a million times a day! Sincerely, Martha Anne	Velvet She was rescued last year and is now a well known fixture of the ballpark area and she has also grown lots since she was rescued!	Ruby Hi thought I’d keep you up to date on how little Ruby is doing. She is great, has settled in well and has become really affectionate especially with me but I'm sure its because I'm around more and am always talking to her, it’s like she answers back!! My husband says he has never known a cat to be so vocal, she is so funny. We went over to Bahrain last Friday for the day and stocked up on Purina cat food which she loves, we got her some kitten biscuits and as soon as the container they are stored in is opened she is on top of the counter eating out of it! You were right about the cheese, we grated some cheddar the other night and she gobbled it up! She has also put on some weight which I’m sure she must have lost whilst in the vets, she's being brushed lots too much to her annoyance at times but she looks so fluffy with her big swishy tail. Have had some friends around to see her and they think she is stunning. We got lots of toys for her yet her favorite thing is an empty box which she is always in and out of and at times has fallen asleep in, it was a empty box that just had 24 bottles of water in it and I hadn't yet put it in the bin and here was Ruby inside it!!! She was sleeping at the bottom of the bed initially now she gets in between us and likes to be up close and lets out a little meow of annoyance if we move and she gets disturbed. She has been great at using the littler tray from the start, no accidents at all. I know you must miss her but honestly she is doing great and we just love having her. Best Wishes Lorraine
